Crypto exchange HTX has introduced restrictions on Russian users
The HTX crypto exchange (formerly Huobi) has introduced restrictions on providing services to individuals and legal entities from Russia. In addition, the restrictions cover the USA, Iran, North Korea, the United Kingdom, European Union countries and other territories.

It was reported that the exchange is notifying clients via personal mailings about the need to withdraw assets within seven business days and warning of a possible account block. However, not all users are receiving such emails.

In a comment to "Kod.ru", the HTX press service stated that deposits and withdrawals are operating as usual and that user funds are protected:
"As for the rumors circulating online about an alleged 'universal mandatory withdrawal of funds within a set deadline', we strongly recommend that users rely exclusively on the platform's official announcements and not on unverified information from communities."
At the same time, the exchange did not clarify whether it would stop serving Russian clients after the country is added to the restricted list, nor did it name any timeframe for possible restrictions.

In May, the United Kingdom imposed sanctions against HTX and Huobi Global, and in July the European Union included the exchange in a sanctions package against Russia. Since August 23, European participants have been prohibited from conducting transactions with the platform. Prime Traders analyst Vasily, in a comment for Pokerflow, also linked HTX's departure from Russia to pressure from sanctions.
