WSOP champion Sammy Farha attacked a dealer during a game
Three-time WSOP bracelet winner and Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker regular Sammy Farha got into an altercation with dealer Doug Kaye at the Houston Social Cardroom.

According to PokerNews, the incident happened during a $1/$3/$6 PLO cash game after two other players went all-in and played out the pot. Both turned their cards face up, and Kaye pushed the pot to the winner of the hand.

Farha accused the dealer of pulling the loser's cards out of the muck. Kaye disputed this, which sparked an argument, and the poker player told the dealer, "Shut your mouth" and "I'll kick your ass." Security came over to the table, but Farha approached the dealer and punched him in the chest. When Kaye tried to step away, Farha attempted to slap him.

The dealer went to the hospital, where he received treatment, and then filed a police report. Houston Social has already banned Farha for life.

It's noted that Farha frequently shows aggression toward dealers and even other players. In 2022, he was involved in a fight with a former dealer at the Legends poker room, which is also located in Houston.
