Royal flush in the EPT Main Event
The Dutchman Lucas van Eden made a royal flush in the EPT Barcelona Main Event. A combination like this comes up in Texas Hold'em on average once every 30,000 hands.

Instead of celebrating and showing his cards to his opponents, Lucas outwardly kept completely cool and mucked his hand without showing it to the table. His opponents never found out what he had, and only the broadcast viewers got to see the unique combination.

The player later explained his decision:
I was stunned, my brain froze. I'd never made this hand in my life, and I got totally confused on the river. Next time I'll definitely show it.
And how would you react if you made your first royal flush?
